my home brew beer taste sweet how can i cure this?
i been making home brew beer from kits but the beer always tastes sweet, is there anything better to prime the beer than sugar?
Less sugar or malt, more yeast or hops Or leave it longer to fermant. Check the specific gravity as obiously all the sugar is not turning to alcohol
Less sugar

Why are you using kits when there are plenty of opportunities to make up your own brew, the way YOU like it simply by going a slightly different ( and MUCH more satisfying) route, i.e. by putting together your own ingredients and that way YOU are in control of the taste.
Vary the Hops and you’ll be amazed at the difference.
Try it, its easy ( if a little smelly) and the satisfaction of getting it right is tremendous. Good Luck.

use more hops. hops are what gives beer it’s crisp bitterness.

I have been brewing different beers from kits for many years and have never had a problem.
From experience I would say that you are not checking the SG (specific gravity) or reading it incorrectly, therefore not all the sugar has been fermented out. This could be that the temperature of the room where the brewing is being done may not be warm enough and the sugar has failed to fully activate with the yeast. You can buy a heater that wraps around the fermentation bucket or a base to stand it on that is heated to ensure a better fermentation.
On the other hand, if it is too warm, it will kill the yeast leaving the sugar unfermented and leaving a bitter sweet taste.

Chances are, you are in a hurry to bottle. Wait until the airlock stops bubbling, then check the specific gravity daily. When it remains constant over three days, prime and bottle.
Some kinds of beer are best when primed with dextrose, some with malt syrup, some with honey, some with brown sugar, some with molasses. You need fermentable sugar of some sort.
