Thanks for all the input on this. After all is said and done, I think the Coke actually works better. It’s really quite good, give it a try. My wife think’s it is one of my best. I used top sirloin but you can use any kind of steak.

It doesn’t taste like Coke at all.

Thank you sooo much for taking the time outta your day to post this recipe for us. I may have altered some (or most) of the ingredients but your idea for using coke and brown sugar was a GREAT one. I have also gone ahead and subscribed to your youtube channel. I will be sharing your coke steak recipe with my friends. :)

    Weber Grill Creations Smokey Mesquite
5th Season Ground Red Pepper (Cayenne Pepper)
The Spice Hunter – Fresh At Hand Onion Mix (contains red onions, white onions, shallots, and chives)
and last ingredient but not least.. a touch of salt.

  25. just made this …
just made this recipe. used the coke marinade, chicken instead of steak, and chili powder instead of paprika. cooked it in a frying pan, then drained the liquid from the marinade and sauteed the leftover onions along with some tomatoes in the pan drippings. cooked 2 thighs, one just ate and the other i’m saving for fajitas later in the week. SO MUCH FLAVOR, and SO easy! thanks for making me feel like a real cook instead of a college kid making eggs for the millionth time.
