it is cool once you get a good pipeline of beers going. It does kinda suck until you get going. The trick is to brew 2 or 3 batches at once. Drink good commercial beer while you wait, then rack your three batches giving you the good pipeline. They you can brew while you drink your own beer. But if you only drink/buy swill its understandable why you wouldnt waste your time to brew your own. cheers!

in the states you are allowed to brew 100 gallons per household. If you are married your spouse can also brew 100 gallons. But who is going to know if you make more? Distilling liquor is illegal though.

LOL You all are so lazy. Making your own beer is awesome; you can decide exactly how you prefer your beer instead of relying on big labels to make something that’s exactly what you want. Plus it makes a good story at the next party.
