old as you wanna be. just don’t get caught, ok. it’s not like brewing tea. takes a good formula and some choice ingredients. you don’t just buy at the local brewery store, ok. hops are hard to come by. and then certain grains and sugars and right amount of water in a sterile stainless steel vat, not childs play, ok. research on the net throughouly. and then give it your best shot. research samueul adams, they have a good website for the curious.

It depends on the drinking laws where you are. I would expect that it’s not legal to make beer as a minor anymore than it’s legal to drink it.
sorry man, you’ll have to get a bum to buy it for you like the rest of us did when we were underage!

I’ve seen this question asked on many occasions in various places and have never found/heard a solid answer but the general consensus is that it’s nearly impossible to get caught doing it aside from your parents or whatever. You can order everything you need online without an ID, and you can do everything inside. Unless you run out in the streets naked throwing homebrew at cop cars it’s just not going to be an issue.

There is no age limit on brewing, you just cannot consume any of the beer.

My friend works at a brewery part time and some younger people go to help out. They are just not allowed to drink.
