In this video we are brewing a Canadian Red beer kit. Taste test video will be available once the beer is ready. This is an extract brewing method, an easy way to make great tasting beer at home with very little time and equipment.

    Good video Craig,it’s nice to see you didn’t edit every little fumble out. It keeps your videos looking more natural that way and it adds a little humor to them. I have a brand new camera it’s a high def. canon SHHHH! Don’t tell any other you-tubers it’s a secret until I do the unboxing video Later today.
    This weekend probably the Feb 6th I’m going to record my first home brew video just to have a little fun and see how well I can make one.hopefully it turns out well. Take care,cheers to you.

    craig just wanted to say thanks finally got all of my stuff for brewing took quite awhile but i bought great stuff and it all started because of watching your videos. lol i brew with the specialty grains, Hops, extracts, yeast starters/nutrients, and a aeration pump . i have brewed two beers so far in the last few weeks and they are in there secondary’s next to me right now cant wait to try them. thanks craig would love to see you get into some of these more advanced kits.

    @CraigTube Because I recognized Canon’s startup chime. It does seem to do a great job shooting video. Mine is an older model that only does 15 fps, unfortunately.

    Not to get sidetracked, though. A great video, as usual. Can’t wait to see the testing followup.

  17. Craig, we use …
    Craig, we use iodophor at the brewery for scrubbing things like gaskets and clamps, valves etc. I believe that this is cheaper. All you do is dilute it with water. I also use it with my homebrew. For my carboys i just fill em up, quick scrub, dump them and fill them with wort. It’s so much easier for me and way cheaper than the other sanitizer I had been using. No big deal, just like saving myself and others some coin!
